Gastritis treatment using Coconut
A great remedy for gastritis is coconut water. It provides minerals and vitamins the body needs but allows the stomach to rest. During the first 24 hours of a gastritis attack the body will respond and heal faster if nothing but coconut water is given.
Gastritis treatment using Rice
Another remedy that works well for acute gastritis is rice gruel. Having one cup of rice gruel twice per day will help the stomach heal faster. In cases where there is little gastric juice it is recommended to eat foods that require rigorous chewing in order to create more gastric juices.
Gastritis treatment using Potato
Gastritis is frequently relieved with the use of potato juice. Take half a cup of juice half an hour before each meal.
Gastritis treatment using Marigold
Gastritis may also be successfully treated with marigold. A tea infusion may be used and two tablespoons per day is recommended.
Depending on how severe the gastritis is patients may consider fasting for two or three days. During this time it is recommended for the patient to only drink water. This is considered stomach rest and it will allow the stomach to rid itself of the toxins causing the gastritis. The inflammation will die down, too.
Once symptoms have subsided it is recommended for the patient to eat only fruit and drink fruit juices for several days. This allows the body to slowly recuperate. The fruit may include pineapples, melons, peaches, apples, pears, grapefruit, oranges, and pears.
