I asked why it was not called just tuberculosis. I do not know if he thought I was not intellectually or maybe even emotionally capable to understand the difference in terminologies, but he said tuberculous pneumonia was a step away from tuberculosis. Before having access to the Internet and reading this article, I thought I had it good that I didn't have the actual tuberculosis. Any ideas as to why I was told that what I had was a "step away from tuberculosis"? Thank you for any insight you might have!
